A unique Autistic blog here for you to explore. Little Bear in the Wood blog has added such value to my life, and I love having the opportunity to share my passions, thoughts and experiences with my loyal readers. So please - read on, and enjoy.
Of recent years I have served as a useful source to those seeking insight, help, or advice. Why? Because I am Autistic. I finally decided to own that role and be intentional about it. I started writing about my life experiences, my thoughts, and curious wonderings about our world and where I belong within it. I founded the Little Bear in the Wood blog with a mission to give others a taste of what goes on in my mind, to share what I have learned and concluded in hope that my darkness can bring light to others.Take some time to explore the blog, read the snipppets I share, and feel free to reach out if you would like to collaborate on a project together or want to learn more.
“Autism + Environment = Outcome.
That outcome might be positive or negative, but the person who is autistic remains the same; it is the environment that leads to the outcome. So if you want a successful outcome, and you recognise the person with autism cannot change their brain, then the only thing you can change is the environment. And that often, but not always, means the people within that environment,”
