My hypothesis is - autism + ADHD = heightened anxiety due to the clash of being both ( autism wants routine and adhd wants spontaneity with weak impulse control and so the autism gets dragged along regardless of protests) which lowers Executive Functioning efficiency & subsequently demands (internal and external) seem threateneing.
